So we realize that it has seriously been a good two months since our last blog, and we know that no one wants to read long paragraphs about drawn out stories that we've been doing. Therefore, we are going to catch up by just putting everything in a nutshell. Here it goes:
Mekayla finally turned 21. WOOHOO! Now we can really live up to everyone's expectations and become alcoholics.

Mekayla also got to go to New Orleans and the Gulf Shores for her birthday courtesy of Trevor (precious of him, I know). They were accompanied by Trevor's cousin, Eric, and his wife, Melissa.

That was the end of June. Next came July 4th. We decided to go to Trevor's for this. He had a block party with all his neighbors where we grilled out all day, enjoyed some adult beverages, and popped some fireworks.

It rained on us for a good two hours, but we didn't let that stop us.

We went to the lake the next day, but we didn't get any pictures of that. We weren't daring enough with our cameras. We don't try to deny that we have a tendency to be a little clumsy.
Well that's about it besides a few individual trips here and there. I went to the mountains for a Breast Cancer Walk with my sister. It was such a wonderful experience. 39.3 miles were harder than I ever imagined, but I would do it all over again in a second. Mekayla also went to the mountains for a family vacation.

All in all, I think we have only seen each other for about month this summer. Kinda crazy. Guess we'll see where the rest of the summer take us. Until next time...
